The next two songs were written with a local girl in the Caribbean Islands where my mother grew up. This track was written in half an hour outside a recording studio in St. Ann's, Trinidad, a place known for its mental asylum. It is about facing challenges, stumbling, rising and forging ahead into the dark with no idea of what might come next. Sometimes, surrendering to our fear of the unknown, is our best way of pushing forwards.
