This is an Argentian word that has come to mean 'chaos'. Originating from the bustling slave settlements, founded mainly by escaped slaves of African descent, known as 'Quilombolas'. I fell in love with the word as soon as I heard it. I suppose to some degree because I adore the excitement of the unfathomable outcomes that are possible when chaos prevails. I wrote this song in spanish, with some typical Argentinian inflections. The words simply say 'How beautiful is the mess? Scattered like the stars, chaos lives in our hearts. The people shine like the lights of the City, chaos rules our souls.'
